Bubbly Dinner at Catharina’s Restaurant

Join Winemakers JD Pretorius from Steenberg Vineyards and John Loubser from Silverthorn Wines for the ultimate bubbly dinner battle in collaboration with Chef Archie Maclean from Catharina’s Restaurant.
A four course menu will be paired with Méthode Cap Classique from both wine farms.

Franschhoek salmon trout, orange and cardamom risotto, walnut and feta

Roast duck breast, citrus gnocchi, celeriac purée, celeriac, apple and white bean salad, rocket pesto jus

Rose petal and strawberry consommé, macerated strawberries, Szechuan pepper meringue, plum sorbet, Méthode Cap Classique and vanilla foam
Silverthorn The Genie MCC
Hot chocolate guanaja spheres, espresso mousse, red velvet textures, Amarula, aerated caramelia
Steenberg 1682 Chardonnay MCC
