By booking a year end celebration at Tryn, you will also receive a discounted rate to stay at Steenberg Hotel & Spa:

R2270 per couple per night in a Classic Room including breakfast. Valid until 15 December 2020.

The Cuvée Room

The Cuvée Room is our most elegant private dining room with emerald green walls, original artwork and contrasting design elements, all contributing to an inviting and comfortable space. The room opens up to a semi-private garden, ideal for welcome drinks and canapés.

No venue hire fee applicable.

This room suits groups of up to 50 guests.

Minimum spend requirement (includes spend on food and beverages, excludes 12% gratuity):

Breakfast: R6000

Lunch: R11 000

Dinner: R18 000

The Ruby Room

The Ruby Room is perfectly suited to smaller groups for a more intimate and relaxed occasion. The room features comfortable booths for lounging back and chatting or for private discussions. The room opens up onto a semi-private garden, ideal for welcome drinks and canapés.

No venue hire fee applicable.

This room suits groups of up to 18 guests.

Minimum spend requirement (includes spend on food and beverages, excludes 12% gratuity):

Breakfast: R4000

Lunch: R8 000

Dinner: R10 000

Group Lunch Special

This group lunch special is available to groups of 12 or more guests, from Monday to Friday, until 15 December 2020.

This makes it the perfect way to celebrate the end of the year.

Three Course Lunch Special | R395 per person

Includes an amuse bouche, starter, main course, dessert and chocolate truffle to finish.

You may select two starters, two main courses and two desserts from the below menu:

STARTERS

CORN, LEEK AND TRUFFLE SOUP: Goat’s cheese mousse, onion soil

ETHICALLY SOURCED PICKLED FISH: Avocado, cream, mousse, lavash

CRISPY PRAWNS: Panko-crusted prawns, avocado pulp, aioli, tomato and chilli jam, shimeji

(Supplement R20 per dish)

STEAK TARTARE: Pickled daikon, sesame, ginger, soy, onion soil, coriander, wasabi mayo, confit quail egg

HOUSE SALAD: Tender greens, cucumber, olives, tomatoes, mange tout, goat’s feta, bean sprouts, raspberry vinaigrette

MAINS

RISOTTO OF THE DAY: Sauvignon blanc, parmesan, micro herbs

ETHICALLY SOURCED FISH WITH TUMERIC AND LIME VELOUTÉ: Wasabi and pea fritter, shimeji and corn salsa

PORK BELLY: Mash potato, red cabbage, mangetout and sunflower seed salsa, rooibos and sultana jus

BRAISED LAMB NECK: Herb ricotta stuffed lamb neck, butternut, feta, mint and pea salsa, lemon jus

BEEF SIRLOIN: Pumpkin purée, roast pumpkin and thyme arancini, fine beans, brandy and pepper jus

DESSERTS

STRAWBERRY NAMELAKA: Mango sorbet, strawberry gel, white chocolate soil

CHOCOLATE BROWNIE: Salted caramel, coffee ice cream, cocoa nib

WHIPPED YOGHURT PANNA COTTA: Berry compote, spiced blackberry and apple sorbet, honeycomb

DARK CHOCOLATE FONDANT: Vanilla mousse, caramel sauce, peanut praline

HOME-MADE SORBET OR ICE CREAM: 3 scoops of seasonal of homemade sorbet or ice cream
