Position: Housekeeping Team Leader

Type: Full-time
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Responsibilities:

• Lead, motivate, and supervise the housekeeping team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and orderliness.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness meets the hotel’s standards.
• Train and onboard new housekeeping staff, providing guidance and support.
• Coordinate housekeeping schedules, assignments, and rotations to ensure optimal staffing levels.
• Collaborate with the Housekeeping Manager to manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain par stock levels.
• Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.
• Uphold a positive and collaborative working environment within the housekeeping department.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role in a luxury hotel or resort.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of housekeeping equipment.
• Exceptional communication skills and a guest-focused approach.
• Familiarity with hotel software and systems is an advantage.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
